This course will be taught by a team of expert lecturers who remain industry active and will share their knowledge with you and give you a clear insight into the realities of working within Film and Television. Through your studies you will be introduced to the creative and technical aspects of single camera and multi-camera filmmaking and television production, supported by film and media theory to inform your practice. And you will learn how to generate and develop ideas and adopt a creative approach to your work. Towards the second and third years of the course, there are a range of specialist options available to enable you to explore your own areas of interest. You may also have the option to study abroad at a partner university or to do a placement in industry on the four-year version of the course. In the final year of this programme you will undertake a major bespoke production project, where you will be able to collaborate with other disciplines and put your learning into practice, whilst showcasing your expertise developed through the course.
